SHORT STORY: The Great Danes totaled 12 hits in their victory over the Dolphins, Wednesday afternoon. 

KEY STATS

• Senior Kasey Conn led the pack with two RBI and two runs on two hits (both doubles).
• Freshman Katie Parisi followed two hits and two RBI.
• Juniors Mary Kate Murray and Taylor Quinn each added two hits while senior Sara Anderson added two RBI.
• Sophomore Hailey Errichiello pitched the complete game with five strikeouts and no walks. 

HOW IT HAPPENED

• After a strong defensive showing in the first inning, sophomore Vanessa Meyers and Kasey Conn hit back-to-back doubles with runners on second to give UAlbany a 2-0 lead. 
• Conn made it home on a bunt from sophomore Kaitlyn Parisi. 
• Le Moyne led off the third inning with a home run, but were unable to gain any more momentum. 
• The Dolphins added one more run to their tally in the top of the fourth. 
• In the bottom of the inning, the Great Danes added six runs. 
• Senior Sara Anderson hit a single up the middle to drive in two runs which extended UAlbany's lead, 5-2.
• Katie Parisi followed with a single of her own to send Anderson home. 
• Katie Parisi made it home off a sac fly by Taylor Quinn. 
• The Great Danes furthered their lead when Conn hit her second double of the game to send Mary Kate Murray home. 
• Junior Kristina Langdon made it a six-run inning for UAlbany with a double of her own that drove in Conn to give the Great Danes a 9-2 lead. 
• After a strong defensive effort in the top of the fifth to hold Le Moyne at two runs, Katie Parisi hit a double that sent Anderson home, sealing a five-inning victory for UAlbany.  

NEXT: The Great Danes are set to host UMass Lowell this weekend (Mar. 28-29) for their first home conference series.
