Bill Ralph is in his second year as an assistant coach on Scott Marr's staff. He was previously a lacrosse club team coach for both Middle Tennessee State University and Vanderbilt University. He also coached Montgomery Bell Academy to state championship final four appearances in 1997 and 1998. A two-time USILA All-America defenseman at the University of Maryland, Ralph was chosen the 1990 Atlantic Coast Conference Player of the Year. He earned second-team All-America and first-team All-ACC recognition as a senior. Ralph, a first-team All-American as a junior, led the Terrapins to a pair of NCAA Final Four appearances. At Yorktown High School, Ralph was selected to the scholastic All-America team twice and was a starting defenseman for three years. His team won the 1984 New York Class A state championship. In addition, he played on the silver medal-winning Empire State Games squad in 1985. Ralph has owned Sports Photo in Murfreesboro, Tennessee since 1993, a company that currently works with 58 leagues and approximately 1,500 teams throughout middle Tennessee and parts of North Carolina and Maryland. He has also worked as a sales representative for Syntex Laboratories. Ralph earned his B.S. in consumer economics from Maryland in 1990. He and his wife, Beth, have three children, Andrea, Brian and Celia.
