ALBANY, N.Y. – Three University at Albany football games will be streamed on national digital networks this coming season, including the Sept. 1 season-opener at Pittsburgh, UAlbany Athletics and the Colonial Athletic Association announced Tuesday.
Five of the Great Danes' home games at Tom & Mary Casey Stadium also will be streamed live on UAlbanySports.com.
UAlbany’s game at Pittsburgh, of the Atlantic Coast Conference, will be shown on ACC Network Extra, which is available to ESPN subscribers through smart phones and tablets as well as computers and smart TVs.
Two other games will be shown digitally on FOX Sports Go and on linear television on FOX College Sports: the Great Danes’ CAA opener at Rhode Island on Sept. 8, and the final game of the regular-season Nov. 17 against Stony Brook at Casey Stadium.
Additionally, UAlbany’s game at William & Mary on Oct. 6 can be seen by Cox Communications subscribers on YurView, and the Great Danes’ contest at Maine on Oct. 27 will be broadcast on FOX College Sports.
FOX is televising 10 total CAA games this season, and another 11 will be shown on CBS Sports Digital as part of a “CAA Game of the Week” package. CAA.TV also will provide free digital coverage of other CAA games.
