ALBANY, N.Y. – University at Albany senior placekicker Ethan Stark and redshirt junior tailback Elijah Ibitokun-Hanks earned spots on Colonial Athletic Association All-Conference teams, which were announced Tuesday by the league.
Stark was named to the Second-Team Offense and Ibitokun-Hanks made the Third-Team offense.
Stark, a native of Erie, Pa., capped his career with a game-winning 48-yard field goal as time expired to beat No. 10 Stony Brook, 25-23, this past Saturday at Tom & Mary Casey Stadium.
It was Stark’s 14th field goal of the season, just one shy of the program’s all-time record. Stark, who was 14-of-17 on field goals and 20-for-22 on extra-point tries, also had made a 51-yard field goal against Morgan State on Sept. 15 that ranks as the third-longest in program history.
Stark handled all the kicking tasks for UAlbany this season. As a punter, he averaged 35.8 yards per kick, placed 11 punts inside the opponent’s 20-yard line and had a long of 51-yards.
Ibitokun-Hanks, bouncing back off a year in which he redshirted because of injury, was UAlbany’s leading rusher with 767 yards. The Newark, N.J., native averaged 4.8 yards per carry and 69.7 yards per game while rushing for four touchdowns.
