BOSTON – University at Albany senior Ryan Udvadia has been named America East Men’s Cross Country Performer of the Week, the conference office announced Wednesday. Udvadia is the first Great Dane to earn the award this season. He shares the award with women's performer Alexandria Ortega from Stony Brook.

The Great Danes placed 21st out of 40 teams at Paul Short behind Udvadia’s performance. In three races this season, Udvadia has one top-five individual finish and has set a personal best twice, marking a total improvement of 30 seconds.
UAlbany is off this weekend but will return to action on Saturday, October 14 to host the 51st Annual UAlbany XC Invitational.
