ALBANY, N.Y. – The University at Albany Athletic Department is inviting all Capital Region families to enjoy an evening of games and activities, followed by the screening of the movie “Moana”, under the lights at Tom & Mary Casey Stadium.

Beginning at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 16, fans will have the opportunity to participate in a number of sport-related activities on Bob Ford Field such as field goal kicks, basketball shooting contest, agility drills, penalty kicks, volleyball, lacrosse, and field hockey instruction from current UAlbany student-athletes and coaches. It’s a great opportunity to meet and mingle, get autographs, and take pictures with your favorite Great Danes.

Following the activities, at approximately 8:00 p.m., there will be a screening of the animated film “Moana” on the videoboard at Casey Stadium. Fans are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy the movie on the field. Please note that bringing outside food and beverage is prohibited. However, movie fare, such as popcorn, candy, and Pepsi products, will be available for purchase.

Admission is FREE for the evening, but each fan will need to register for the event at UAlbanySports.com/Tickets. If you already have an account with UAlbany Athletics, CLICK HERE to register for the event. Please print your tickets using the “PRINT AT HOME” option and bring them to the event.
