Softball Announces Fall Hitting and Pitching Clinics

UAlbany Sports Information   09-26-2019

ALBANY, N.Y. – UAlbany Softball Head Coach Chris Cannata has announced four dates of fall clinic offerings for 2019. The UAlbany Softball Fall Hitting and Pitching Clinics will stretch across four Sundays, running from October 27 to November 17.

The clinics, which are designed for players aged 8-17 of all skill levels, aim to provide a solid skill foundation for young players and increase the level of play for advanced players.

Hitting and pitching clinics will be run as separate sessions but participants have the option to sign up for both sessions. The clinic will run as three one hour sessions, providing a 1:2 instructor-to-athlete ratio in hitting and a 1:3 instructor-to-athlete ratio for the pitchers.

Hitters are expected to bring their own bat and sneakers. Pitchers will need to bring their own catcher. Catchers must bring their own gear, and they will not receive any catcher instruction at the clinic.

All clinics will be held at the University Gym and Bubble, both on the campus of the University at Albany. For complete details about clinic options, including pricing, and to register, please click HERE.
