In her final season, the Carol Stream, Ill. native maintained a 4.0 GPA in mental health counseling while boasting a .331 batting average. Petzold was one of two players to start all 43 games this season for the Great Danes and finished the year second on the squad in slugging percentage (.552), hits (45), RBI (22), doubles (13) and homeruns (3).
