Comments From Head Coach Nick Bochette:
“We're really happy to get a result in our home opener. Iona did a great job of disrupting our rhythm in the first half and put us under pressure early. I'm thrilled with our response in the second half, however, and I think the group showed a lot of character by attacking with such intent in the second 45. We created chances, especially in the first part of the second half and were able to put pressure on their back line with some regularity. There's still a lot of room for improvement, and we will continue to learn from all of our experiences.”
Next: The Great Danes will play Buffalo at home on Sunday, September 2nd at 1:00 p.m.
