Great Danes Face First Road Test At Marist

ALBANY, N.Y. – The University at Albany women’s basketball team hits the road for its first road contest of the year at Marist on Wednesday evening. Tip-off is slated for 7 p.m. at McCann Arena.

Lay Up Lines

  • The Great Danes sit at 1-1 this season after falling, 71-51, to Cornell last Friday. Morgan Haney paced UAlbany with 14 points while Alexi Schecter added 10 points of her own.

  • Senior Alexi Schecter established a new career high with 31 points against Columbia (Nov. 5). The Lowell, Mass. native shot 13-15 from the floor and 5-7 from the free throw line. She is the first Great Dane to score 30-plus points in a game since Jessica Féquière scored 35 points against Maine during the 2017-18 season.

 

Double Trouble
