Great Danes Host Annual Pink Game on Saturday

ALBANY, N.Y. — The University at Albany women’s basketball team hosts its annual Play4Kay game on Saturday, February 16 against Maine (2 p.m.). The Great Danes are partnering with the Kay Yow Caner Fund and the American Cancer Society in the fight against cancer.
Throughout the month of February, the Great Danes will be participating in the Kay Yow Cancer Fund’s Play4Kay National Free Throw Challenge. Fans can support the Great Danes by pledging for every free throw they make during the month of February. To pledge, click here!
The Kay Yow Cancer Fund's mission is to extend and improve the lives of those who are battling cancer by raising money for research and assisting the underserved. The Play4Kay initiative is the Kay Yow Cancer Fund's largest fundraiser and plays a major role in uniting players, coaches, and communities in the fight against all women's cancers.
The Great Danes will honor breast cancers survivors during halftime of Saturday's contest.
