Short Story: The UAlbany volleyball team got back in the win column after taking down Hartford in straight sets, 3-0, on Sunday afternoon. Grace Cozad earned a personal-best eight digs in the match to go along with her eight kills, one block and one service ace.
The Great Danes improve to 3-1 in conference action to sit third in the standings, behind Stony Brook (4-1) and New Hampshire (4-1).
Akuabata Okenwa racked up a game-best 13 kills. Jenna Bridges was the only other players to record double digit kills with 10.
Hartford hit just 0.069 and .188, respectively, in games one and two.

Head Coach MJ Engstrom and the Great Danes are now 15-0 against Hartford since Engstrom took over the helm.
This is UAlbany’s fifth sweep of the season and first in league play.
