ALBANY, N.Y. – Fresh off a three-game home sweep of Stony Brook, who started the series atop the America East standings, the University at Albany baseball team hits the road for its next four games starting Tuesday at Fairleigh Dickinson.
UAlbany (14-15, 5-7 AE) hosted the Seawolves over the weekend, winning all three games. In the second game of the series, the Great Danes put on an offensive showcase, scoring 16 runs, 14 of which came in the third and fourth innings. To clinch the sweep, UAlbany center fielder Connor Powers hit a bases-loaded, walk-off RBI single in the bottom of the seventh of the third game.

Fairleigh Dickinson last hosted NEC rival Bryant for four games over the weekend. The Knights fell in all four games to the Bulldogs, allowing double digit runs in three of them.
Despite sweeping Stony Brook, UAlbany sits tied for sixth place in the conference standings with Binghamton. Hartford has taken over the top spot in the conference, three games ahead of UAlbany.
Following the single game against Fairleigh Dickinson, UAlbany will visit Binghamton for three games starting Saturday. The Great Danes return home Tuesday, April 24 to host Central Connecticut State.
