UAlbany returns its first-ever male or female individual cross country champion in Hannah Reinhardt who has her senior-year eligibility remaining. Reinhardt placed first in four of six races last year, and finished the season 23rd at the Northeast Regional Championships.
Reinhardt leads a group of runners that includes four of the top five scorers from last year’s championship meet, including 10th-place finisher Holly Machabee, 11th-place finisher Kaylah Quarshie, and 17th-place finisher Kelly Iocca. The Danes lose their #2 runner from 2018 in Cara Sherman, who will return to the team for the outdoor season but has exhausted her cross country eligibility. Joining the team in Sherman’s place will be six newcomers.
