UAlbany Women’s Lacrosse Named 2015-16 IWLCA Zag Sports Academic Honor Squad

ALBANY, N.Y. – The UAlbany women’s lacrosse team has been named a 2015-16 Zag Sports Academic Honor Squad by the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA).

As a team, UAlbany earned a 3.31 GPA for the 2015-16 season.  It is the fifth time UAlbany has been named an Academic Honor Squad by the IWLCA, including the second year in a row and the third time in four years.

To qualify, teams needed a 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher for the 2015-16 season, with all players on the squad for the full academic year contributing.

UAlbany was one of 276 schools across the three NCAA Divisions (I, II and III) and NAIA to be named an Academic Honor Squad by the IWLCA, including one of six America East teams.
