Melissa Nealon recorded her second shutout of the season. She finished the game with two saves.
The No. 20 Great Danes picked up their second-straight win with a 4-0 whitewash of Colgate on Tuesday afternoon.
UAlbany improves to 3-0 this season against opponents ranked outside the NFHCA Top-25 and has outscored those opponents 8-1 in 2019.
A pair of Great Danes had career days in senior Dana Bozek and sophomore Kelsey McCrudden. Bozek, a midfielder, racked up a career-best seven points, while McCrudden, a defenseman, notched a personal best in assists with four.
McCrudden’s four assist performance is tied for second all-time and marks the first time a Great Dane has accomplished the feat since Fiori Van Rijsiwjk did so in 2015.
Bozek’s seven points are tied for sixth all-time in program history.
The women in purple jumped out to a strong start behind a goal from Bozek in the opening quarter. Freshman Lillian Hickey was able to double the Great Danes’ lead, 2-0, with a redirection before Bozek netted her second of the contest with a one-timer at 28:56.
Bozek later connected with McCrudden for the third time in the contest to make it a 4-0 game with five minutes remaining.
Goalkeeper Melissa earned the win and her second shutout of the season. The senior finished the contest with two saves.
