Marks Earns First Cap for Team USA

CHANGZHOU, China – Former UAlbany field hockey standout Kelly Bonner Marks appeared in her first game for the U.S. National Team as No. 12 USA took on No. 10 China at the FIH Pro League this past weekend.
Marks made her debut in the squad’s final road game of the FIH Pro League. Marks, an Elverson, Pa. native is the first Great Dane to earn a spot on the USWNT.
A two-time America East Champion, Marks finished her stellar three-year career with 32 points on 14 goals and four assists. As a senior, Marks led the Great Danes to the program’s first Final Four appearance in 2014.
She was previously a member of the U-21 National Team, U.S. Women’s National Development Squad and the U.S. National Indoor Team.
