COLORADO, SPRINGS, Colo. – Two former UAlbany field hockey standouts were tabbed to the U.S. Women’s National Indoor Team, as announced by Head Coach Jun Kentwell.

Kelsey Briddell (‘17) and Kelly Bonner-Marks (‘14) earned a spot on the 2019-20 USWNIT and will participate in indoor national tournaments in Europe in December and January in preparation for the 2020 Indoor Pan American Cup.

Briddell, a four-year started for the Great Danes, helped UAlbany capture back-to-back America East Championships in 2014 and 2015. Her 20 career assists rank 10th all-time as the Gansevoort, N.Y. native totaled 48 points during her time as a Great Dane.

A two-time America East Champion, Marks finished her stellar three-year career with 32 points on 14 goals and four assists. As a senior, Marks led the Great Danes to the program’s first Final Four appearance in 2014.
