2019 UAlbany Men's Lacrosse Season Tickets On Sale Now

ALBANY, N.Y. – Fresh off its first-ever Championship Weekend, the UAlbany men’s lacrosse team is gearing up for 2019, and fans can too! 2019 season tickets are ON SALE NOW and can be purchased online here or by calling the UAlbany Ticket Office at (518) 442-DANE.

In addition, 2018 season ticket holders can renew their seats TODAY by clicking here or calling the UAlbanyTicket Office!

Fans are encouraged to purchase their tickets early for all the exciting action in Tom & Mary Casey Stadium in 2019! Gold seats are available starting at $125, purple level tickets are $99 and white level seats are $75. Parking passes for the 2019 campaign will become available at a later date.

Road to the Championship Weekend - 2018 Highlights

--16-3 overall record, best in program history

--First trip to Championship Weekend, appearing in the NCAA semifinal round

--Seeded #2 in the NCAA Tournament, the highest in program history

--Reached the #1 overall ranking for the first time in program history during the regular season and held the mark for six weeks in the USILA Coaches Poll and the Inside Lacrosse Media Poll

--Won the program’s ninth America East Regular season title as well as the 9th Tournament title (including 5 of the last 6 years)

--Finished a perfect 10-0 at home, ranking second nationally in overall attendance and fourth in average attendance

--Won games against NCAA Tournament participants Syracuse, Maryland, Cornell, UMass, Richmond and Denver

--Led Division I in scoring offense (14.42 goals per game), points per game (24.0 points per game), scoring margin (5.79 goals per game) and face-off winning percentage (76.9%)

--Tallied six USILA All-Americans and five Inside Lacrosse Media All-Americans, including JD Colarusso who was selected as the winner of the Ensign C. Markland Kelly Jr. Award for Most Outstanding Goalkeeper in Division I

--Connor Fields, a four-time All-American, finished with 364 career points, which ranks him 2nd all-time in NCAA history, only behind UAlbany great Lyle Thompson’s 400 points. He also completed his career with 199 goals, which ranks 3rd on the all-time list.

--TD Ierlan finished first in Division I with a 79.1% faceoff win rate, which set a new NCAA single-season record. TD also set single-season records for faceoffs won (359), total ground balls won (254) and ground balls per game (13.37)

--2018 #1 overall recruit, Tehoka Nanticoke, finished an impressive freshman campaign scoring 82 points (50 goals, 32 assists) and earned Honorable Mention All-American honors.

--The Great Danes finished the season with two players in the top-15 in DI in points per game (Fields & Nanticoke)

--Josh Egan earned the NCAA Elite 90 Award for top GPA among participants at the finals site, holding 3.96 GPA in business

2019 Outlook

Under the direction of Scott Marr, who will be entering his 19th season at the helm for UAlbany Men’s Lacrosse, the Great Danes look to build on the success of a historic 2018 season and make their second Championship Weekend appearance in 2019! The Great Danes return the best faceoff man in the nation in TD Ierlan, who led all of Division I with a 79.1% faceoff rate and 254 ground balls in 2018. They also return, three of the team’s top five scorers in 2018 All-American Tehoka Nanticoke, junior Jakob Patterson and senior Sean Eccles as well as two starting close defenders in Matt Perla and Erik Dluhy.
