ALBANY, N.Y. – The UAlbany men’s lacrosse team now stands in the top-10 in each poll, holding its position of #9 in the USILA Coaches Poll and moving up to #8 in the Inside Lacrosse Media Poll this week.

UAlbany has been at #9 in the coaches poll the last two weeks and went up four places to #8 in the media poll.  UAlbany stands in the top-10 of both polls for the first week this season and has been in top-15 of each all year.

UAlbany did not play this week, postponing its planned home game against Maryland due to inclement weather.  The Great Danes have won three straight games by at least nine goals each.

Denver is at #1 in each poll after defeating Notre Dame at home over the weekend.  Penn State is at #2 in the coaches poll while Notre Dame is #2 in the media poll.

UAlbany’s next game will begin America East play as the Great Danes visit Vermont on Saturday, March 18th at 1 p.m.
