Seven UAlbany Menís Lacrosse Alumni on 2017 National Lacrosse League Rosters

UNCASVILLE, Conn.The 2017 National Lacrosse League (NLL) season is set to begin in a few days, and seven former UAlbany players will compete in the league’s 31st season.

The NLL is the largest professional indoor lacrosse league in North America, with teams from across Canada and the United States.  All nine teams announced their opening day rosters this week, with the first day of competition being on December 29th.

At the start of the 2017 season, five NLL rosters will have UAlbany representatives with a total of seven former Great Danes. 

Five former UAlbany players are veterans, while Blaze Riorden gets set for his first season with the Buffalo Bandits and Seth Oakes suits up for the first time for the New England Black Wolves.

UAlbany alum David Brock was a member of the 2016 Buffalo Bandits that reached the Champion’s Cup Finals, falling to the Saskatchewan Rush.
