Comments from Coach Colleen Cashman-McSween

“We are very excited to finally get the NCAA Regional underway tomorrow! The anticipation, support and excitement throughout the community this week has been unparalleled to any other experience during my career here at UAlbany. This team has worked very hard, has reached some impressive goals this season and has a strong bond that shows through to everyone. These next 3 days they will represent UA for only the 2nd time in the NCAA Golf Tournament, they will play for each other every step of the way while enjoying the journey! As an 18 seed in the tournament, we don’t have anywhere else to go but up the leaderboard and I believe that if everyone plays their best, then maybe, just maybe, we can turn some heads and make some history! This week is going to be a lot of fun! Regardless of the results, I’m very proud of these 5 players!”
