COMMENTS FROM COACHING STAFF “I’m very proud of the team effort this entire week from our thorough practice in South Florida at the beginning of the week throughout the entire tournament this weekend. Coming out of the winter for the first time after limited practices on grass, I think the team really stepped up their games and showed some true grit out there. No doubt we didn’t have our best stuff this weekend, but we made some incredible par saves over the last 2 days and really limited the big numbers on holes. Moss Creek Country Club was very tight and required a lot of golf course management and I think overall they did a great job with that. Coming away with the Runner Up trophy this weekend while competing against mostly southern schools certainly gives us a lot of confidence going into our next event next weekend in Florida,” said Coach Colleen Cashman-McSween.
UP NEXT The Great Danes return to the action on Saturday, March 24th at the Stetson Gabs Steffens Hatter Collegiate Tournament in Deland, Florida at the DeBary Country Club.
