NEW ORLEANS – The University at Albany track & field program was ranked in the Northeast Regional Top 15 again this week, with the women improving three spots to fourth and the men holding steady at seventh.

The women’s poll once again saw Dartmouth retain the top spot, while all 14 spots behind the Big Green saw some amount of turnover. Harvard and Syracuse swapped positions from last week, landing second and third, respectively, and Connecticut jumped nine spots to round out the top five behind UAlbany. Within the America East, New Hampshire improved two spots to 11th and UMass Lowell fell one spot to 13th.

The men’s poll saw decidedly less turnover than the women’s. Connecticut and Syracuse remained first and second this week, followed by Army, up two spots to third, unmoved Rhode Island in fourth, and finally Boston University, up one spot to fifth. UMass Lowell jumped two spots to 12th while New Hampshire held firm at 14th.
