The Great Danes Head To The Blue And White Classic

ALBANY, N.Y.-- The Great Danes are headed down to Hampton, Virginia for the Blue and White Classic, where they will play five games from March 9th to March 11th.

- Omaha 9:00 a.m.

- Hampton 1:00 p.m.

Sun, Mar 11

- Omaha 10:00 a.m.

Last weekend at the Winthrop Invitational, UAlbany finished with a 1-4 record, defeating Youngstown State on Saturday. The game ended in the fifth inning with the Great Danes up by eight runs. UAlbany is currently 3-7 overall.

SCOUTING FOR THE BLUE AND WHITE CLASSIC

La Salle (2-7) -  La Salle went 20-27 last season overall and 7-16 in their conference. So far this season, they have participated in the Camel Stampede, where the went 0-4, and the EMU Madeira Beach Invitational, where they went 2-3.
Key Player: 
Sophomore Emily Conaway leads La Salle, batting .250 with six hits, three doubles, and four RBIs.

Hampton (7-9) - Hampton went 23-22 overall last season and 17-1 in their conference. This season, they started at the Gardner-Webb Invitational, where they went 0-4 with one game cancelled.
Key Player:
 DaSha Hill leads the Pirates, batting .488 with fifteen runs, twenty hits, one triple, and two RBIs in fifteen games.

Omaha (9-11) -  Last season, UNO went 15-30 overall and 6-8 in their conference. UNO started its season at the Bulldog Kickoff Classic, where they went 2-2.
Key Player:
 Kelly Pattison leads UNO batting .370 with three runs, ten hits, two home runs, and ten RBIs in eight games.
