UAlbany Men's Basketball Invites All to Purple & Gold Scrimmage on October 13th

ALBANY, N.Y. – The UAlbany men’s basketball team is inviting all fans to come out to the SEFCU Arena on Friday, October 13th at 7 p.m. for the annual Purple & Gold Scrimmage.

Admittance to the game and parking for the contest is free for all fans looking to attend.  This is the first chance for all fans to come see the 2017-18 Great Danes. 

UAlbany is coming off its sixth consecutive postseason appearance, going 21-14 overall and 10-6 in the America East, including a victory over Big Ten member Penn State, defeating Hartford and Stony Brook en route to the America East title game.  UAlbany earned a postseason berth in the Tournament. 

The Great Danes return 2016-17 America East All-Conference guards David Nichols and Joe Cremo plus the next three top scorers in Travis Charles, Greig Stire and Devonte Campbell.

Do not miss the most anticipated game of the year when UAlbany visits Siena in the annual Albany Cup game on Saturday, December 9th. Secure lower level seating in the UAlbany section at the Times Union Center by calling 518-442-DANE. Interested parties should call immediately as lower level seating is extremely limited.

The season will open on Friday, November 10th at 7 p.m. against MAAC champion Iona.
