Coach Mueller: “I thought it was a big challenge for sure. After Sunday’s devastating loss I thought it was important that we try. Ben made his first start today and gave us a chance early against a good Stony Brook team. Brendan was almost unhittable for four-plus innings. And when Jack gets in the game we have a chance. I think everyone sees if he can get going we’re going to be a different team.”
