Beerkens dribbled around the goalie and was easily able to find the back of the goal. This momentum allowed UAlbany to two more shots in the next five minutes.
The second goal of the game came from Katie MacCallum. After multiple forward progression moves toward the goal, including an impressive spin from Camryn Dias, it was MacCallum that was able to score off of a diving swing to put the Danes ahead 2-0.
The Wildcats began picked up their attack after the two goal deficit. UNH was able to fire their first shot of the game in the 26th minute resulting in a goal. The goal came from a quick pass by UNH’s Bloem Brekel that was placed right in front of the goal. As Nealon dove to stop the ball, Tina Morin flipped the ball into the upper right hand corner of the net to decrease the Great Dane lead to one.
In the second half, the Great Danes earned a penalty corner in the 58th minute. Kelsey Briddell stepped to the left side of the goal to insert the ball to Dana Bozek positioned toward the top of the circle. Bozek crushed the ball into the right side of the goal to score.

As the corner progressed, New Hampshire conducted two passes reaching the right side of the goal. Nealon blocked the first shot, but the rebound was picked up by Erin McNamara who was able to produce a goal to the right of Nealon.
