“I'm extremely pleased with our tournament both as a team and individually. We shot two of our all-time best team scores in the final two rounds. This was a great start to the season, finishing with two players in the top 10 of the first event. It was a team effort, with every player having their score count in at least one of the rounds,” said head coach Colleen Cashman-McSween.

“The competition was very tough at the top of the leaderboard, but I think we did a great job sticking to our game plan of attacking par 5's and increasing the amount of birdies we make. This invitational was a huge confidence booster going into the season. We are excited to host Siena next Sunday and we hope that we can get some fans out there to watch us,” said Cashman-McSween.

The Great Danes return to the action on Sunday, September 17th at the Albany Country Club where they will host a dual meet against Siena.
