Comments From Head Coach Nick Bochette:

"Colgate is an excellent opponent who asks a lot of different questions of us on both ends of the field.  We were quite good for large portions of the game, but couldn't get the breakthrough needed to assert any true authority on the game. They took their chances and saw out the game like the quality team that they are. It was not a bad performance from our group, however, and we'll take the good and the bad and learn from them.

The first 2 weeks of our season have been taxing, but have been fantastic for the growth of our team. We've challenged ourselves against nationally ranked opponents, played each game away, and did so while assimilating 10 new players into the group. As classes start tomorrow, we're looking forward to playing 4 of the next 5 at home, and continuing the learning process against quality opponents"

Next: The Great Danes will play their home opener on Friday, August 31st against Iona at 4 p.m.
