Albany, N.Y. — The UAlbany volleyball team has a busy week ahead with back-to-back America East Conference roads games this weekend. The Great Danes first visit UMass Lowell for a 7 p.m. match up on Oct. 12 before stopping at New Hampshire on Sunday, Oct. 14 for a 1 p.m. tilt.
Last Time Out
UAlbany is coming off a pair of split decisions last weekend. The squad fell at Stony Brook, 3-0, in its first road league game of the year before bouncing back to defeat Hartford in straight sets.
New Hampshire (4-1) is second in the AE standings, UAlbany (3-1) sits third and UMass Lowell (1-4) ranks sixth heading into the weekend.
UAlbany owns a 2-5 clip on the road.
New Hampshire, 2-2 at home, carries a two-game win streak into Sunday’s contest.
UMass Lowell has yet to earn a victory on its home court, 0-2.
The Great Danes and Wildcats split the series 1-1 last season. UAlbany swept the series against the River Hawks a year ago.
Digging Her Way to the Top
Nicole Otero earned her 1,500th career dig on Sept. 7 against Western Illinois, becoming just the fourth Great Dane to reach the milestone. Her 1,684 career digs rank third all time at UAlbany.
