Briggs placed 19th overall in the men’s 400m hurdles at the NCAA Outdoor Championships at the University of Oregon last Wednesday. He was UAlbany’s lone representative at this year’s outdoor championships, which were the third consecutive in which UAlbany has fielded a competitor.

Briggs is the latest to earn All-America honors, joining active teammates Adrian Mitchell and Matthew Campbell, as well as coach Grace Claxton. His personal best of 50.95 in the 400m hurdles this season ranks third all-time in program history.
