Drake, Osika to Compete in USILA North-South Senior All-Star Game

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Two UAlbany players, Bennett Drake and Adam Osika, have been selected to play in the 76th annual USILA/Nike North-South All-Star Game on Friday, May 26th.

The annual North-South game, which was established in 1940, takes some of the sport's top men's lacrosse collegiate seniors in the DI and DII levels to play in an exhibition.

Drake and Osika are both playing on the North Team.  The game will be played on the campus of Providence College on Friday, May 26th at 5:30 p.m.

Drake started all 18 games in the first midfield for UAlbany, earning All-Conference Second Team honors with 35 goals, nine assists and 14 ground balls, including 13 multi-point contests.

Osika earned All-Conference First Team honors as an SSDM, starting all 18 games for 22 goals, 10 assists and 15 ground balls, earning multi-point games 11 times in 2017.

In 2016, Derrick Eccles, current UAlbany volunteer assistant coach, was UAlbany's representative in the North-South game.
