ALBANY, N.Y. - After a decisive 4-1 win over America East Conference opponent Stony Brook, UAlbany women's soccer prepares for conference road matches against Binghamton on Thursday, October 4 and Hartford on Sunday, October 7. The Great Danes will have a tough task ahead of them this week, having a combined record of 3-17-3 against both the Bearcats and Hawks since 2001.

The Great Danes offense has been firing on all cylinders, leading the conference in points (66), goals (25), and third in assists (16). Shayla Bergeron is the team-leader and second in the conference in goals with seven. Despina Psomopoulos is tied-for first with Stony Brook's Tessa Devereaux in the America East with five assists. Maggie DeVerna leads the Great Danes with two game-winning goals. Freshman Allison Carhart is second in points (9) and tied-for first in goals (4) for all freshmen in the conference.

Scouting the Bearcats
Binghamton comes into Thursday's match having lost four of its previous six matches and two of its previous three conferences matches. The Bearcats start a three-match home stand, beginning with the Great Danes. This is the 11th meeting between both teams since 2001. Binghamton has owned the series, leading 8-2-1.

Scouting the Hawks
Hartford begins the week boasting the conference's best record of 7-2-3 and a perfect 3-0-0 in conference play. The Hawks are currently riding a six-match unbeaten streak and will test its might against Maine on Thursday before facing UAlbany on Sunday. Going into Sunday's match, Hartford leads the series 9-1-2 since 2001.

The Hawks senior forward Amelia Pereira leads the conference in goals (9) and points (22). Junior goalkeeper Erin Quinlan is tops in the America East in goalkeeping with a daunting 0.71 goals against average and six shutouts.
