Lake Buena Vista, Fla.- UAlbany golf finished sixth with a three-day team score of 1067 at the MAAC Championships on Sunday, April 29 at Disney's Magnolia Golf Course. Annemarie Kissane led the Great Danes with a 15th-place finish. Siena was crowned MAAC Champions with a final score of 939 as teammates Victoria Nguyen and Kylie Strijek finished first and second for the tournament.
Kissane finished the tournament with a team-best 253 (88-85-80) after shooting a team-best 80 on day three. Stephanie Klein closely followed, finishing tied for 17th with a score of 259 (87-85-87).
Lisa Agoglia finished 25th with a 268 mark, Alana Calmi placed 30th scoring a 287 and Cassie Orlan rounded out the 31 person tournament with a 291 score.
The Coach of the Year for the women's golf team was given to Siena's Dave Wronowski and Rookie of the Year was given to Boston University's Krystina Pavlickova.
