Kaitlin Lewis enters her first year as the director of operations for the 2019-20 season.
As the director of basketball operations, Lewis will be involved in all phases of the day-to-day operations of the women’s basketball office. She will handle office and team budgetary matters, team travel and will assist in the operations of the annual Colleen Mullen basketball camp.
Lewis has accumulated extensive basketball experience since graduating from Trinity College in 2017, most recently serving as an assistant coach at Wellesley College for the 2017-18 and 2018-19 seasons. She worked primarily as the Blue’s recruiting coordinator and scout coach. Lewis also served as the sports information and operations assistant at Wellesley and was responsible for planning and coordinating all athletic competitions.
Prior to her time at Wellesley, Lewis served as a student assistant at Trinity in the sports communications office from 2013-2017.
A basketball player in her own right, Lewis played for the women’s basketball team at Trinity and served as the team’s co-captain during her senior year. The 5-4 guard saw playing time all four seasons for the Bantams, moving into a starting role in her final season.
Lewis was also a member of the 2014 Trinity women’s lacrosse team that captured the NESCAC Championship and a second place finish in the NCAA Division III lacrosse tournament.
A native of Demerest, N.J, Lewis earned her degree in political science from Trinity in 2017. She currently resides in New York.
