Brian grew up in the Philadelphia suburbs playing his high school baseball for the nationally ranked, Malvern Preparatory School. In his senior summer he played for Paoli legion who was coached by former Cincinnati Red and Villanova University assistant, Rod Johnson. Paoli qualified for a national regional; ultimately finishing as one of the top 50 teams in the country. After entertaining multiple offers he chose LaSalle University in Philadelphia. After his freshman year he transferred to Millersville University where he finished his career as a three year starting catcher. He finished with a career throwing percentage just shy of 35%.
After a successful collegiate career he was inducted into the All American Baseball Academy Hall of Fame.
Brian spent three years as the top assistant for West Chester East HS. The Vikings made the district playoffs all three years and qualified for the state tournament in 2015. Most recently he served as the catching and hitting coach for Swarthmore College.
