Former UAlbany student-athlete Cara White has been part of the athletics administration since 2002 and full time since 2004, currently serving as the Associate Athletic Director for Facilities, Scheduling, Game Management and Community Outreach plus the Senior Women's Administrator.

She is the sport oversight administrator for golf, men's lacrosse and women's lacrosse.  Her responsiblities include overseeing and managing athletic facility renovation projects, serving as the chair for the America East Student-Athlete Engagement Committee and monitoring all Title IX gender equity initiatives.

A native of Beamsville, Ontario, Canada, White played for the UAlbany women's basketball team from 1998-2002, including the program's first-ever Division I squad.  She was a team captain and the 2001-02 America East Women's Basketball Scholar-Athlete of the Year.

She graduated from UAlbany in 2002 with a degree in human biology, earning her Master's Degree of Public Heath in 2004.
