Women's Lacrosse Prepares For 2013 Season With Fall Ball

ALBANY, N.Y. - UAlbany women's lacrosse head coach John Battaglino and the Great Danes continue to grow and prepare for the 2013 season with two fall ball dates remaining. UAlbany started its fall schedule with Havard's Melting Pot Tournament on Sept. 30. The Great Danes faced Harvard, Boston College and Brown.

UAlbany went to Syracuse, N.Y. on Saturday, Oct 6 for five 30-minute games against Cornell, Colgate, Canisius and Syracuse's squads 1 and 2.

The Great Danes now head to the Princeton Fall Invitational on Sunday, Oct. 14 at the Princeton Stadium. UAlbany will play Princeton, Penn, and Boston College with each game set for two 25-minute halves. Then on Saturday, Oct. 20, the women's lacrosse team will wrap up its fall schedule when they travel to Penn. The Great Danes are scheduled to face Penn, Georgetown, and Vanderbilt at Penn.
