DURHAM, N.H. -- UAlbany had three runners place in the top ten, led by junior harrier Brittney Lane, to finish second in the team standings at the Pre-Conference Meet hosted by the University of New Hampshire on Friday. Vermont took the team title, while New Hampshire finished just behind the Great Danes in third. Boston U. and Maine rounded out the five-team meet.

Lane crossed the line of the 5k race in fifth with a time of 17:16.32. Senior Miranda McConnell was seventh overall in 17:55.64, followed by Kathryn Fanning in 9th place in 17:57.91. Brianne Bellon added another top-20 finisher to the UAlbany roster, crossing the line in 18:22.22 for 17th place. Brianna Service ran to a 24th-place finish in 18:43.56. Melissa Del Rosario (18:57.73) and Nicole Gillette (18:58.90) crossed the line in 34th and 35th place, respectively.

Amanda Eisenson (64th, 20:35.03), Breanna Cummings (67th, 21:00.10) and Jonelle White (68th, 21:38.72) completed the UAlbany runners.

The Great Danes will return to action on Sat., Sept. 29th, hosting the 46th Annual Great Dane Classic.
