Amherst, Mass. - Maggie Taylert fired a 90 to lead UAlbany in the second day of the Jack Lehman Invitational, held at the Hickory Ridge Golf Club and The Orchards Golf Club on April 21-22. The Great Danes recorded a team score of 761 to finish 13th out of 15 teams competing in the tournament.
Katie Napleton finished first overall in the individual competition and three of her teammates also finished in the top ten to lead Boston College to the team title.
Taylert finished 25th overall with a 176 total over the two-day competition. Jessica Signorelli shot an opening-round 84 to lead the Great Danes after day one but followed with a second day 97 to finish 39th overall. Sun Hwa Kim finished third on the team and tied for 64th overall with a 194 total (98-96). Tracey Berns (71st,105-105 -210) and Mary-Jane Restey (78th, 121-120 -241) rounded out UAlbany's scorers.
The Great Danes conclude their season at the America East Championship on May 5-6.
