Despite a 0-0 tie at the break, Maine broke through with two second half goals to push past UAlbany, 2-0, Friday afternoon in Orono, Maine.

 

With the loss, the Great Danes (10-7) fall to 1-3 in conference play, while the Black Bears (7-8) improve to 3-1.

 

The two teams played an evenly matched first half with UAlbany carrying a slight 5-4 shot advantage into halftime.

 

Maine broke open the scoring with a tally in the 36th minute before doubling the score with a deflection at 53:16.
