But UAlbany was bogged down by 16 penalties for 118 yards and an untimely turnover.
Leading 16-13, the Spiders intercepted a pass in Great Danes’ territory with less than two minutes before halftime and returned it to the 6-yard line, setting up a touchdown run that made the score 23-13 at the intermission.
The teams remained scoreless in the second half until Reeves’ touchdown catch.
