Coach Colleen Cashman-McSween
“Wow. Back to back. It's unbelievable. I can't even put into words how proud I am of these players for sticking to our process, achieving the goals we set at the beginning of the season and, most important, prevailing in these very difficult and exhausting windy conditions!
“Never at any point did we not lead, and every round we just increased our margin, just as our game plan was laid out. Behind the solid play of both Helga and Madison on Saturday, it really gave us some breathing room as it came down the stretch.
“This whole season, as a team, we just kept working hard and believing, even during the difficult times. When it all comes together, it is most definitely a feeling of satisfaction. And to win this tournament with so many of the parents that traveled so many miles around the globe (Iceland, England, France and California) to just be here to support us really solidifies the closeness of this Purple Family.
“Wow. What a weekend!”
