Fields, Ierlan and McClancy all earn this recognition for the second straight year. In the second year of Inside Lacrosse having Media All-Americans, it is the second consecutive year that UAlbany placed five on these teams.
Colarusso finished the regular season as the DI leader in goals allowed average and victories. The America East All-Conference First Team goalkeeper is 15-2 as UAlbany’s netminder, saving 59% with a 7.30 goals allowed average.
Fields now stands second all-time in DI in career points with 356. The America East Offensive Player of the Year is averaging 5.57 points per game, totaling 31 goals, 47 assists and 21 ground balls.
Ierlan is the DI leader in faceoff winning % and ground balls per game. The America East Defensive Player of the Year has won 83.4% at the faceoff-X, winning 326 faceoffs and grabbing 240 ground balls.
McClancy is UAlbany’s primary two-way midfielder, starting all 17 games. He earned America East All-Conference First Team member has tallied 26 goals, 16 assists, 31 ground balls and four caused turnovers.
Nanticoke is one of DI’s top freshmen, including being the America East Rookie of the Year. Averaging 4.59 points per game, he is UAlbany’s leading goal scorer with 46, adding 32 assists.
The All-America list was announced on Sunday night during halftime of the Cornell-Syracuse game.
UAlbany is in the NCAA Quarterfinals and will take on Denver on Saturday, May 19th at 2:30 p.m. at Hofstra University.
