Game One Score: Maine 6, UAlbany 5

Game Two Score: Maine 12, UAlbany 5

Location: Varsity Field in Albany, N.Y.

Records: UAlbany (18-24, 8-12AE); Maine (16-29, 10-10 AE)

Short Story: UAlbany falls in both doubleheader games against Maine on Friday.

Coach Mueller: “We’re sure going to have to start winning some games here if we want to get into this thing. We had a tough game in the first one. I thought we played well. The second game got away from us early, and we didn’t play well defensively. Dom has been almost perfect for us all year but at some point he’s going to get hit, and today he got hit, and that happens. But we had a lot of defensive miscues early in that game. We’ll look forward to tomorrow.”
