UAlbany scored first with two runs in the top of the fourth inning. Connor Powers worked a leadoff walk, and advanced to third when Matt Codispoti hit a ground-rule double to left center. Two batters later, Travis Collins hit a two-RBI double to right center, scoring Powers and Codispoti.
Manhattan tied the game a two in the bottom of the fifth
UAlbany responded immediately, retaking the lead with one run in the top of the sixth. Codispoti hit a leadoff double, and advanced to third when Ryan Hernandez grounded out to second. Following a Manhattan pitching change, Collins was hit by a pitch, and then pulled off a double-steal with Codispoti, allowing Codispoti to score by stealing home plate.
