Short Story: The UAlbany track & field program wrapped RPI’s Capital District Classic, the last meet before conference championships, with 14 event victories.

  • The women’s 4x100m relay of Marielle Apronti, Marion Osei-Boateng, Nicole Dodrill, and Mariam Magassouba placed first overall in 48.88
  • Laura Nolan won the women’s 1,500m in 5:07.04
  • Victor Ortiz Rivera placed second in the men’s 1,500m in 3:58.79; Jonathan Gay placed third in 3:59.37, and Charlie Ragone placed sixth in 4:01.43
  • Naomi Rowe won the women’s 100m hurdles in 15.77; Tori Reid placed third in 16.56, Hailey Thornton placed fourth in 16.64, and Summer Haight placed fifth in 16.78
  • Dawshawn Williams placed second in the men’s 110m hurdles in 15.45; Adam Bush placed third in 15.53
  • Solange Wright won the women’s 400m in 59.55; Apronti placed fifth in 1:01.54
  • Jordon Lawrence placed second in the men’s 400m in 50.10
  • Águeda Muñoz Marqués placed second in the women’s 800m in 2:17.54; Nira Lovick laced third in 2:18.46, Kaylah Quarshie placed fourth in 2:22.82, and Kaitlyn Butterfield placed seventh in 2:25.75
  • Mariah Shummette won the women’s 400m hurdles in 1:07.88; Akua Williams placed second in 1:08.19
