The Great Danes dropped a close game to the Black Bears by a score of 2-1. Saturday's series finale went scoreless through the first three and a half innings before Maine jumped onto the scoreboard first with two runs in the bottom of the fourth. UAlbany responded with its only run in the top of the fifth. With one out, Kyle Sacks and Stephen Loreng worked back-to-back walks to put runners on first and second. After Matt Codispoti flied out to second, Alex Thul earned the Danes' third walk of the inning to load the bases. Finally, Nick Kondo drew a fourth walk, forcing in Sacks from third. The Great Danes were unable to capitalize further, and the game ended 2-1 after four more scoreless innings. Travis Collins led UAlbany with two hits. Great Dane starter Ray Weber lasted 4.0 innings, allowing two runs on seven hits.
