KAPALUA, MAUI— The Great Danes took 15th out of 15 at the Anuenue Spring Break Classic shooting a three round score of 965 (+101), with round scores of 328, 318, 319. UCLA took home the team title shooting 852 (-12), followed by Arizona State who shot 869 (+5) and San Jose State who shot 877 (+5).
Annie Lee led UAlbany in the individual scores tying for 47th place with round scores of 77, 77, 79, and an overall score of 233 (+17). Following Lee, was Megan Henry and Paige Fujihara who had total scores of 241 (+25) and 243 (+27) respectively. Finishing out the Danes’ lineup was Annika Espino with a score of 252 (+36) and Helga Einarsdottir with a score of 255 (+39).
The tournament consisted of 54 holes (18 each day) at the Kapaula Bay Course which is 6,012 yards (72 par). The Great Danes faced tough competition in a field of 15 teams including Arizona State, Colorado, Fresno State, Gonzaga, Hawai’i, Mercer, Osaka Gakuin, San Jose State, Santa Clara, Seattle Stanford, UCLA, UC Riverside, and Utah Valley.

Women’s Golf will travel to Bloomfield, Connecticut to compete in the Hartford Hawks Women’s Invitational which will take place April 8th and 9th.
